Opportunities

The vision of Middle School is to provide opportunities within the curriculum and activities opportunities for all children to acquire important skills and abilities including decision making, critical thinking, cooperation, writing and public speaking from a reality based and real world approach to learning. These skills are taught and fostered through the academic programs, elective programs (journalism, television productions, computers, Peer Leaders etc) and school activities (e.g. career day, co-curricular clubs) available to all students. Guidance Counselors support, consult and participate in these areas to help students gain skills needed to get along with other people, fit into organizations and the workplace and to build social, emotional and academic skills needed for their lifetime
